What is a Health Check?
Health Checks are safety protocols instituted to help reduce attendee exposure to COVID-19. Measures may include, but are not limited to: proof of vaccination against COVID-19, OR proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test result prior to entering the event.
Are refunds being offered for events whose entry requirements have been updated to include vaccinations or testing?
At this time refunds are not being offered for this event. Ticket holders are free to transfer tickets to other individuals or defer attendance until another event. If you wish to defer your ticket to another event, please email festivals@lighthousebeerandwine.com.
Who decides if a Health Check is required?
In partnership with local health departments and government guidelines, the Live Oak Amphitheater at Riverfront Park monitors local COVID-19 trends and determines if Health Checks will be required to attend an event. In some instances, an Event Organizer may choose to exceed protocols mandated by local governments.
How will I know if the Carousel Center Beer and Wine Festival will require vaccination or a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test?
Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test is required for entry. Please have a copy of either PROOF OF VACCINATION OR PROOF OF NEGATIVE COVID TEST available with your ID upon arrival.
How soon to the event date should I take a COVID-19 diagnostic test?
This event requires proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test 72 hours prior to the event date. You can also locate free testing in your area by using this helpful resource for North Carolina.
Who will check vaccination status or negative COVID-19 diagnostic test at the entry? How will this work?
This process will be seamless at your arrival. Please give more time for your entry as each individual must be checked. We will have designated a Health Check point when you present your ID to the gate personnel. A copy of your vaccination cards and/or negative COVID-19 diagnostic test results will be required when you present your ID to the gate personnel.
Is my health information protected?
Yes, neither Live Oak Pavilion, The Carousel Center or Lighthouse Beer and Wine have access to information related to your Health Check. No information is withheld. Your information is your own.
Does every attendee need to pass the Health Check?
Yes, every attendee will need to pass the Health Check requirements.
As the ticket purchaser, am I certifying all individuals in my party attending the event will meet the requirements specified by the Event Organizer?
Yes. As the ticket purchaser, you certify all members of your party will follow the Health Check requirements specified by the Event Organizer.
If I am ineligible for vaccination due to underlying health conditions or religious reasons, am I unable to attend an event requiring vaccination?
We are requiring Health Checks for everyone. Unvaccinated attendees with a valid medical restriction or other restriction must take a COVID-19 diagnostic test (either PCR or ANTIGEN/RAPID) and provide proof of a negative result prior to entering the venue. Are Event Organizers requiring a specific type of COVID-19 diagnostic test?
We are requiring proof of either a negative PCR or Antigen/Rapid COVID-19 diagnostic test. You can locate free testing in your area by using this helpful resource for North Carolina.
Will I have to wear a mask?
Depending upon local health departments and government guideline developments, we may either require or encourage guests to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status. In the event that masks are required, all attendees – regardless of vaccination status – will be expected to wear a mask at all times, except while actively eating or drinking. In the event that masks are encouraged, all attendees – regardless of vaccination status – will be encouraged to wear a mask except while actively eating or drinking. Will event staff follow the same Health Check protocol as fans?
Yes, venue staff will follow the same Health Check protocol.
Will staff be required to wear masks?
Depending upon local health departments and government guideline developments, we may either require or encourage staff to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status.
What are my options if I am unable to attend because I have been exposed to a positive COVID-19 case or am experiencing COVID-like symptoms?
Refunds are available for event cancellation only. You may opt out of attending and save your ticket for a future festival if you contact the event organiser. If you chose to roll your ticket over to the next event, please contact festivals@lighthousebeerandwine.com by the event date. As an added level of comfort, fans may also transfer their tickets to attending friends (or even strangers!), tickets are transferable.
