Vouvray Pichot- One hundred percent Chenin blanc wine. Very bright yellow wine with long lasting legs, especially for a 12% wine. Aroma is pears, honey, melon, mango, and a touch of grass. Taste is quite complex for a sweeter wine. I tasted honey and pears right away, followed by apples and melon. As this wine warmed I even got notes of brown sugar and maple. This is a really fun sweet wine with lots of layers. I would recommend it with buttery seafood such as Chilean sea bass or crab legs. Pairs well with white cheddar cheese.
