I must admit, I am a sucker for labels, and Renegade Rose’ drew me in. I am also a big fan of a great deal, and this one costs less than $15, so I couldn’t pass it up. Mostly syrah along with mourvèdre and a dash of cinsault, Renegade Rosé is a pretty, pale salmon color with aromas and flavors of watermelon, strawberry, and citrus. Dry in style, it’s perfect by itself but has enough acid to fit in well at the dinner table. This is a wine that I could sit outside on sunny afternoons and drink all summer long!
