Aroma is tart red fruit, barnyard funk, vanilla, and some balsamic. Appearance is reddish Amber with bright clarity and a thin white foam. The wine barrel aging is very prevalent in the flavor. Lots of tart cherries, blackberries, and a bit of oaky vanilla. Nice, zesty lemon acidity with sharp lactic acid notes and a nice, dry finish. Medium body with moderately high carbonation. I really enjoy that this one is all wine barrel aged compared to the others that were bourbon or a combination of barrels. The barrel aging really shines in this one. Perhaps my favorite Love Child since #4.
