Lighthouse policy: Kegs are sold on a first-come-first-serve basis and so we cannot and will not take reservations over the phone. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Sizes/Terms/#'s: 15 gal = 1/2 keg = 165 12oz. servings; 7.75 gal = 1/4 keg = 80+ 12 oz. servings; 5 gal = 1/6 keg = 55+ 12 oz. servings
*Is there a deposit? --- Yes: at least a $50 deposit depending on which combination/amount of equipment you need to rent. You will pay for the beer alone, as long as you get everything back to us within 24-48 hours. A Transfer-Permit will be filled out at the time of your picking up your keg(s), letting us know what amount of our equipment (keg, tap, bucket) you have out.
*Do you rent taps? How am I going to keep my keg cold? --- We have taps available for rental at no charge; however, there is a $10 charge for tap rental with kegs not purchased from Lighthouse. Also at no charge, we have buckets of all shapes and sizes to place your keg in, as well as ice for sale on-site (ice is not included in the cost of your beer and is an additional cost).
*I'm having issues with my keg... Help! --- If you think the beer is a bad batch, please return it to the shop as soon as possible in order for it to be resolved by our staff. This will help to make you, us, the distributors, and the breweries happy! If you own a kegerator, please consult
www.micromatic.com/ as well as online forums where your problem has probably already been encountered and answered! If necessary, call the shop at 910.256.8622. Micromatic is also the source for finding the necessary coupler to go with the keg of your choice.
*Can I return my keg/tap/bucket when you aren't open? --- No, equipment may only be returned during open business hours. The renter is responsible for all equipment until it has been returned, when they must sign off on the return-signature portion of the Transfer-Permit.
*For information on any of our beers, find them on RateBeer.com and/or pick a few from the single's cooler to try.
